Recently, the team led by Professor Zhou Qiao from the Department of Pathology of West China Hospital published a research article titled “tRF-21LeuTAA Promotes Oxidative Stress by Altering Glutathione Metabolic Enzymes to Support Prostate Cancer Progression” in Cancer Research (IF: 16.6). The study reveals that a novel tRF molecule promotes the accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) by regulating glutathione metabolism-related enzymes, thereby playing a role in promoting the progression of prostate cancer.
