From September 30 to October 2, 2023, the largest endoscopy academic conference in India, "Endoscopy Premier League 2023", took place in New Delhi, the capital of India. Professor Hu Bing from the Gastroenterology Department of West China Hospital was invited to attend the conference by Professor Randhir Sud, President of the Indian Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He delivered a keynote speech and conducted surgical demonstrations during the event. More than 2,000 experts and scholars in the field of gastroenterology from countries such as the United States, China, South Korea, and India attended the conference.

During the conference, Professor Hu Bing presented on the topics of "Endoscopic Appendectomy" and "Endoscopic Full Thickness Resection: Technique, Skill, and Safety." He also performed three surgical demonstrations, with particular attention drawn to one case of early-stage lower esophageal tumor resection.

After the conference, over ten doctors from countries including India, Thailand, and Egypt expressed interest in furthering their education by studying at WCH's Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Center. As an international training base for medical professionals, the center continually strengthens international medical exchange and has hosted physicians from more than six countries and regions for educational purposes.
