11月3-6日，中西医结合科呼吸组王刚副教授受亚太呼吸学会（APSR）邀请，赴上海参加第16届亚太呼吸年会。本届会议吸引亚太地区中国、澳大利亚、日本等多个国家的呼吸及相关专业人员参会。
        王刚投送的论文“Relationship between current psychological symptoms and future risk of asthma outcomes: A 12-month prospective cohort study”、科室研究生、目前在澳大利亚纽卡斯尔大学John Hunter医院呼吸中心在读博士付娟娟，在Gibson教授指导下投送的论文“Low-grade systemic inflammation is associated with airway neutrophilia in asthma”经专家评审，被确定为大会发言（Oral presentation）。两篇论文的交流，受到亚太地区同行的关注和兴趣。
