5月17-23日，第108届美国泌尿外科年会在美国亚特兰大召开。美国泌尿外科年会为全球规模最大、影响最为深远的泌尿外科学界盛会。共3000余名代表出席了该次会议，其中300多位中国泌尿外科医生参加会议。
        我院泌尿外科魏强教授受邀在全球华人泌尿外科分会场（World Chinese Urological Society）作了题为“Pathological Features and Differential Analysis of BPH and PCa combined with Prostatic Tissue Inflammation”的报告，受得在座学者的广泛好评。同时，魏强教授作为主持人参加了另一专题的学术讲座。
        在前列腺癌诊断与筛查（Prostate Cancer: Detection and Screening IV）分会场，魏强教授展示了其“A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Comparing Three Methods of Anesthesia for Transrectal Ultrasound Guided Prostate Biopsy: Periprostatic Nerve Block, Intrarectal Topical Anesthesia and their Combination”的壁报交流（Moderate Poster），会后与各国相关领域的专家进行了深入交流与探讨。
