2013年7月26日至8月2日，美国路易维尔大学的Kenneth S. Ramos教授与Irma N. Ramos教授夫妇应邀来我院参观访问，他们分别参观了科研基地、公行道实验室、金卡医院，并分别与再生医学研究中心各位老师以及金卡医院罗凤鸣教授就双方的科研合作展开了充分的交流。
       Kenneth S. Ramos教授与Irma N. Ramos教授于7月29日下午14:00至17:00作了题为《Translational Medicine in the USA: A Personalized Genomics: Approach》以及《The Community Health Model as a Tool in Personalized Medicine》的学术报告。他们分别从微观和宏观的角度，与大家分享了个体化的医疗卫生服务的相关知识和研究现状。7月30日下午14:00，Kenneth S. Ramos教授又带来了题为《Regulation of Human Genome Plasticity by LINE-1 Retroelement: Implication in Health & Disease》的学术报告，Irma N. Ramos教授与大家分享了《Environmental Pollution and Human Health: A Community Based Research Approach》。
       此次学术交流活动增加了学生对国外个体化医疗的了解，促进了再生医学研究中心与国外知名教授的沟通合作。
