Nursing Delegation attends 27th East Asian Forum of Nursing Scholars and engages in collaborative exchanges in Hong Kong

On March 6th, Vice Dean Zhang Fengying of the West China School of Nursing led a team of faculty and students to Hong Kong to attend the 27th East Asian Forum of Nursing Scholars and to visit the school of nursing, the University of Hong Kong (HKU Nursing) and the Nethersole School of Nursing at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.


The 27th East Asian Forum of Nursing Scholars, hosted by the School of Nursing of University of Hong Kong, aimed to provide a high-level academic exchange platform for East Asian nursing scholars by exploring high-quality doctoral education in nursing. More than 1000 scholars from the UK, the US, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, China, and other countries participated.

During the visit to academic institutions in Hong Kong, our team had in-depth discussions with teams led by Director Chia-Chin Lin of HKU Nursing, Director CHIEN Wai Tong, and Vice-Director CHAIR Sek Ying of the Nethersole School of Nursing at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, on topics including nursing discipline development, student exchanges, joint training, and scientific research cooperation.


This visit further promoted the exchange and cooperation between the nursing schools in Hong Kong, contributing to the high-quality development of nursing disciplines.
