The 2^nd West China International COE Training Class of Laparoscopic Gastrectomy for Gastric Cancer, organized by the Gastric Cancer Center, was held online on Oct. 11 and Nov. 5, 2022. Experts such as Vice President Hu Jiankun and Professor Yang Kun, director of the Gastric Cancer Center, gave theoretical lectures and surgical demonstrations separately on laparoscopic radical gastrectomy. The conference also invited Professor Noriyuki Inaki from the Kanazawa University Hospital, Japan, and Professor Tomy Lesmana from the Soetomo General Hospital, Indonesia, to share standardized laparoscopic distal gastrectomy and digestive tract reconstruction after distal gastrectomy for distal gastrectomy. The COE training class attracted more than 100 trainees from Japan, Indonesia and so on, as well as up to 1,000 online viewers. It has won unanimous praise from participating experts and domestic and international students and achieved the expected training effect.
